About the Book
Jesus is our Living Word encouraging us by His Holy Spirit with His Words of LIFE. So here are new songs of affirmation and declaration for equipping us all to be saints in Light. Restorative Spiritual Songs are direct from the Word. They will be tonic with good medicine for the spirit, body, mind and soul that give voice to our Heavenly Father’s Love and Care for us all. An alphabet of simple songs will help us meditate on and remember Our Heavenly Father’s Word with Flowing Grace. Singing them out will cause these truths to positively dwell deep in our hearts and spirits. Offerings of Praise and Thanks to God can be heartily sung round. We may swim, march, dance, prayer walk or simply be, as we sing them heartily. They will do us good and build us up as we sing out and give voice to these Heavenly Vitamins, and share them with each other too.

My review:
This precious book is an intimate look at a relationship among soulmates; between heaven and earth. Filled with loving photographs taken by the author and songs of devotion, Heavenly Vitamins is an alphabet of interactive praise meant to fortify and build up the reader. For the musically inclined, songs are set up in formatted notes, accompanied by Scripture and lovely images. Simple tunes, such as “Praise shall continually be in my mouth, Psalm thirty-four verse one” both offer our adoration and help us memorize verses. Images of creation in seasons, fruit, blossom, wildlife, sunsets, all meld into hallelujah.

Those who enjoy music and photos in a peanut-size coffee table book will love Heavenly Vitamins.

The VIkings of Loch Morar Creation Seekers series

About the Book:
Book II in the "CREATION SEEKERS" series
Published by: CREATION WAY BOOKS (an imprint of KOT BOOKS, LLC). March, 2019. (Softcover; 250 pages. Illustrated by Becky Miller.)

Jonathan Oliver is chasing down an intruder on Lake Oswego’s Iron Mountain when he discovers some long-buried artifacts. One of these relics sparks a remarkable spinoff from the Oliver family’s greatest invention. Together, Jon and his father incorporate their breakthrough into a revolutionary submersible design. At the invitation of Dr. Graham MacKenzie, the Gyrosensors team travels to one of Scotland’s wildest and remotest regions—and its deepest lake—to develop their secret prototype. While staying at Dr. MacKenzie’s retreat center, they meet a pretty but mysterious Frenchwoman going under an assumed name. Across the loch, the reclusive caretaker of a Victorian-era hunting lodge is hiding staggering secrets of his own. During the prototype's construction and sea trials, Jon and his family confront enemies on land, in the air and under the water. In the end, Jon rekindles a long-lost love and finds an ancient, holy treasure-hoard.

A brief interview with the author:

What do you love about your new book?
One aspect of my new book I love is that Scottish legends are central to the plot (just as in The Lake Lights). In The Vikings of Loch Morar, the legend is connected to actual phenomena taking place in and around a Scottish lake. (Not Loch Ness, by the way.) Something else I love about this title is the way the Vikings and Viking history are tied to modern-day Oregon and Scotland. I enjoyed the process of intertwining historical fact and fiction and tying up some of the loose ends left in The Lake Lights. I’m always blessed by Becky Miller’s marvelous illustrations as well.

Most of all, I love how God reveals Himself in this book by strengthening the characters’ faith and by helping them to survive in the face of impossible odds. God definitely had a part in resurrecting the relationship between Jonathan Oliver and his former love interest, too!

What are two things you learned while researching?
In order to make the plot believable, I learned to read and write Old Norse runes, much as J.R.R. Tolkien employed in The Lord of the Rings. In fact, once I learned Old Norse runology, I could read what Tolkien had written in runes on one of his book covers. (“One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them…”) It turns out that he transliterated English words phonetically into those runes. In The Vikings of Loch Morar, however, I actually translated my English phrases into Old Norse before transliterating the Old Norse into runes. (That ancient language shares a common Proto-Germanic ancestor with English, by the way.) I also researched the evidence for Viking settlements in America and in the British Isles. To this day, we still don’t know how far those seafaring raiders penetrated into America, though they left behind tantalizing clues in the form of tools and runestones.

Tell us about the character who gave you the most trouble.
That would be Crìsdean MacKenzie, caretaker of the Swordland Lodge. Not only is his accent thicker than day-old Scottish porridge, but I also had to create his character and backstory out of whole cloth. MacKenzie (not to be confused with Dr. Graham MacKenzie) is the latest in a long line of caretakers, having taken an early retirement from his teaching position at Oxford to replace the former caretaker. Crìsdean harbors an old and extraordinary secret passed down from one caretaker to the next. It is this knowledge that ultimately becomes the focal point of the plot.

What do you hope readers will tell others about your book?
That it offers something for everybody—adventure, inspiration, history and mystery, suspense, science and science fiction, romance—and a glimpse into the Christian vision of life after death.

What are you reading now?
Anything I can get my hands on!

What’s next?
I’m actually engaged in the reprinting of some of my first series titles under my own imprint (Creation Way Books). Sadly, my former publisher, WinePress, closed its doors a few years ago and left quite a number of authors in the lurch. I have finally figured out how to republish all seven of those titles myself, but I’m having to reformat everything from scratch. It will be a protracted process.

About the book:
God is the author of the Bible as well as the author of life. He reveals his heart and his mind through his words. And when you read his words, you get to know him. A Crash Course in the Bible contains approximately two hundred Bible verses. And these Scriptures will teach you what God wants you to know.

“God so loved the world that he gave . . . .” That’s the essence of God. He’s a giver. That’s who he is and what he does. He loves us so much that he gave us his only begotten Son. And through him, God gives us everything that we need.

He gives us hope and joy and peace. He gives us the desires of our hearts. He gives us eternal life and many other precious gifts. A Crash Course in the Bible describes thirty-eight gifts that God has provided for you. And it tells you how to receive them.

My review:
Larry Vaughn, author the The Bible Believer’s Handbook, has released another little gem in A Crash Course in the Bible. In this tidy little book, Vaughn plucks lessons from everyday life, from children to faith to recompense to salvation and wisdom, and shows how the Word of God teaches God’s ways to humankind.

Opening with an introduction on how times have changed since the Pilgrims first sought America, Vaughn urges us to return to those spiritual roots, and ends with “Twelve things” every believer should know; again, the basics from what faith and redemption are to how to achieve that state of grace and what we should do about it through our newly opened conscience and confidence.

Readers of nonfiction Biblical works will find peace and comfort in these verses, as well as a good way to quantify your faith to share it in a meaningful and understandable way with others.

Two questions with Larry:
What do you want readers to know about your latest book, Larry?
I wanted to make the Bible easy to access and easy to understand. And to show how great God is and how generous he is to us.

What do you hope readers will take from this book?
The readers of my book will know what the Bible says. And they will understand what that means to them.

About the author:
Larry Vaughn has been married to his best friend Marie for fifty-one years. They have three daughters, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. And they live just outside of Memphis, Tennessee. Web: http://larryvaughnauthor.blogspot.com and http://Biblebelieverspublishing.com

Three Strand Cord by Tracy Krauss

May 2018
Kindle book $2.99

About the Book

Tempest. Stella. Cherise. Fate brought them together, but can their friendship survive the tangled web of danger and deception that threatens their very lives?

Tempest Ross dreams about moving back to California some day – both the place of her birth and her parents’ tragic death. When she agrees to pretend to be her friend Cherise for an afternoon, a tangled web of lies develops from which she can’t escape. Complicated by the unwelcome advances of Cherise’s playboy brother and her own attraction to a mysterious man, Tempest’s faith in God is tested to the limits.

Stella Crayton has high ideals about saving the planet and plans to start with her father’s ranch. Then she finds out her father has been keeping a dangerous secret. At the same time, her own errant emotions take over as she falls in love with two brothers at the same time. Add to this her best friend’s disappearance, and questions about God set this no-nonsense Texas girl in a tailspin.

Cherise Hillyer just wants to have fun, which in her books means having a good looking man in tow. The typical rich girl, she usually gets what she wants, even if she has to lie to get it. Desperate for her latest flame who has left for Rome, Cherise convinces her friends to cover for her while she takes off after her Italian lover. She doesn’t know she’ll soon become embroiled in an international conspiracy of lies and deceit that will threaten her life.

Three Strand Cord is a story of intrigue and romance told from three different points of view, all coming together to prove that when it comes to true friendship, ‘a three strand cord is not easily broken.’

My Review of Three Strand Cord

Tracy Krauss gives her fans a new novel of friendship that takes her readers on a tumultuous ride across the United States and across the ocean to Italy.

Three friends who met at boarding school come from very different backgrounds. Tempest, the naïve orphan, Stella the cowgirl, and Cherise the spoiled rich daughter. All have secrets, weaknesses and strengths that draw them together and, as iron sharpens iron, helps make them want to be better.

The first half of the book is divided into three segments as each girl shares current events. Tempest wants to reconnect with her past, and when an unexpected opportunity falls in her lap, she reluctantly pushes aside her conviction of newfound faith to participate in a lie. She becomes an unwitting pawn in a game perpetrated by her friend Cherise’s equally spoiled brother. Stella, having completed a masters degree in environmental science, returns home to the Texas ranch where she was raised. Her complicated relationship with her stepmother and her best friends, the foreman’s sons, create tension, exacerbated when she stumbles on the not-too-subtle secret shame of the land she’s loved all her love. When Stella realizes her friends have grown up and no longer consider her a kid, either, all’s fair in love and war. The ranch becomes both battleground and haven when Tempest needs a safe harbor. Both Tempest and Stella’s devout housekeeper help Stella to reexamine her absent faith. Cherise lives in the moment, doing exactly what she pleases and forcing everyone around her to bow to her wishes. When she follows her Italian lover, she gets a rude awakening. But going home is impossible when she’s caught up in international intrigue. A secret phone call to Tempest sets up a risky rescue attempt.

Although there will be more stories in this series of friendship adventures, A Three Strand Cord is a complete story. Initially told from the three friends’ viewpoints, the second half of the story comes together beautifully as each of the three learn to rely on dependence and trust in each other and the Lord.

While inspirational, some of the situations in the story portray sexual situations and violence, as well as pet death. A Three Strand Cord is a big story, from the east to west coast US and Texas, as well as Italy, and covers a lot of action. With three very different personalities in the main characters, readers of contemporary romance with suspense and action will find the book a breathless read.

About the Book:
Beautiful, creative Amber Warren and handsome, dependable Jesse Nelson have been best friends since grade school. Jesse’s strength and reliable spirit draws Amber, but can she trust a man with her heart after being jilted by her fiancé? A strong and self-reliant woman, Amber discovers she will need someone to help her after unexpected news from her parents upends her world. Will Jesse meet the demands of his work and still step up to be the rock she can lean on? An unlikely source will help Amber conquer the menacing and paralyzing fear gripping her heart. In the midst of a devastating disaster she pulls from deep within her being the courage to look fear in the eye to save the one she loves.

My Review:
This charming, sweet novella is a perfect addition to Fuson’s growing repertoire of both contemporary and historical tales set generally in her stomping grounds of the western US and Colorado. Amber’s fiancé wanted more of the world than he was willing to share and ditched her for the opportunity to work in Paris. I might have wondered why Amber wouldn’t jump at Paris until I realized Mr. Wrong didn’t bother to spend much time discussing it, and neither was Amber’s heartstrings too firmly attached to the cad. Better opportunities were right under her nose, and it took only a little persuading to open her eyes to the good thing waiting just for her. I loved it when she realized just how interwoven Jesse’s life was with hers when he knew his way around the family kitchen.

Conquering challenges and rising above the hurt others put on them show Amber and Jesse how strong they are together. Add in Miss Purrfect, the darling antique store cat, and we’ve got a very fun read. Highly recommended for those who like their clean romance in bite-size chunks.

A brief Interview with the Author:
In A Sparkle of Silver, Purrfect is the sweet store cat. The antique store where she reigns supreme is named Preowned Perfection. So, Purrfect got her name. She is a pure white cat with green eyes. For the most part she doesn’t interact with patrons but occasionally she can’t help herself. She might follow a customer through the store but not in a typical fashion. She loves to roam the mock or staged rooms along the top of the partial walls that are a whopping ten feet tall with a span of another six feet above that. The cat is a great mouser and yet doesn’t displace breakables off the shelves. Purrfect is a good judge of character which we find out in the pages of the story.

Tell us about your motivation to write the story, Robin. What do you love about it?
This book was fun to write for a variety of reasons. I love antique stores. Finding the right wedding ring set was tons of fun. Writing a story where Colorado is the backdrop is a delight because It’s my home. I identify with the character, Amber. She dresses nicely even to go to the grocery store which is what I typically do. She loves antiques and working with her hands. She is strong but doesn’t always give herself credit for being so. Amber has a deep fear that she has to work through. Don’t we all struggle at some point in our lives with fear? Her handsome sweetheart, Jesse, is a good fit for her. Attentive to her needs and strong both emotionally and physically he helps her through encouragement and lending a hand when she asks. He is purposeful and yet can be spontaneous.

Nice! I agree! Can you share a couple of things you learned while working on this book?
I spent hours delving into research on antiques that still pop up on the ads on my computer. For instance, Amber bids on and purchases an antique cuckoo clock. I pulled up a picture of the clock to make the description in the book. I’ve been to auctions in the area, so I could write that into my story through my experience. The store where she works is similar to ones I walked through on Broadway in Denver. I added a warehouse and attached a house for her to live. Something that I had not known before was, for a price, you can have a new piece of furniture or knickknack made that appears like the original antique.

I also learned that help to overcome fear can come from an unsuspecting place and love will be the necessary strength it will take to conquer that fear.

What’s next for you, Robin?
Right now, I’m writing a historical mystery novella, Gamble on Fate, set in Colorado Territory of 1886 in Colorado City near present day Colorado Springs with a Pinkerton investigator. Also, for a few years, I’ve been working on a contemporary cozy mystery novel, The Race of Her Heart, that is set in Durango, Colorado. In this story, a ski Olympian has an accident, dashing her hopes and dreams. The tumble down the mountain was caused by someone tampering with the bindings of her skis. The saboteur is not satisfied with only the limp caused from the fall and the threats keep coming.

Robin Densmore FusonOh my goodness! I can’t wait to read them. Thank you, Robin

Talking A Life Transformed by Sana Edoja

Please welcome Sana Edoja from France. Sana is a former atheist who found the Lord and shares here experience of living the Christ-filled life through her writing. Her books are KNOWING GOD and the recently published A LIFE TRANSFORMED.

"It took me more than twelve years to finish writing my book A Life Transformed," Sana says. "Actually, I started writing it before my son was born. He is eleven years old today. I didn't understand why I added more writing and editing for all those years.
God taught me perseverance in receiving emotional healing through those years. I had to get my emotional turmoil out of my system by sharing it with the world. It was therapeutic in revealing the power of God's transformation in my life.

What are you reading now?
I'm reading a book called Supernaturally Natural from a French pastor. It is teaching me how to be more spiritual on a daily basis.

What’s next for you?
I'm planning on promoting my book A Life Transformed and writing more articles on my blog. I'm taking a break from work to strengthen myself with God. I'm learning my identity in Christ and the importance of building my confidence in God's presence. I've recently graduated in becoming a jobseeker adviser. It is a tough for a beginner when you are confronted to professionals' criticism. During my intimacy with God, I listened to His words of healing and encouragement. God helps me to have a sense of comfort, unconditional love and protection. I've enrolled in a Bible course as we are perishing without God's knowledge. I'm working on dealing with my pride in order to become more humble. I'm focusing my thoughts on the word of God in order to make any progress in fulfilling the plan of God for my life.

“I was troubled by a traumatic childhood, a victim of child abuse and bullying. I often felt depressed, humiliated and resentful. I turned to fortune tellers. I found myself caught up in negative thoughts. But it was only when I turned to God that I was able to experience feelings of hope. “Life Transformed” is a testimony to the work of God in restoring one person’s life. Be challenged in learning what God can do in the midst of despair.”

Also from Sana Edoja, KNOWING GOD:

"Knowing God" can be very challenging in the world we are living in today, especially with the circumstances of life shown to us by the media."I have written Knowing God with the clear intention and determination to help those who are looking for the truth to have a better understanding of God as the Bible intends... I pray that this book will be a source of encouragement and enlightenment to those who are seeking God and want to know Him in a much deeper way." Sana Edoja

Cuban Christian reflections by Roberto Ornan Roche

The Lighthouse of Asaph
Roberto Ornan Roche

The Lighthouse of Asaph: Unforgettable Christian Reflections

Every year, with the arrival of terrible and threatening hurricanes to the Caribbean, I lose both sleep and joy, fearing that the strong winds might destroy the trees that my father planted almost forty years ago. Already some have been blown down, but others remain, and these trees are among my fondest memories of him. I can recall many occasions when my mother and I were by the door, praying, while the destructive winds outside continued to roar.

When I think of such things, I feel that our faith is like those trees, nurtured by other people. At the same time, new trees are starting to grow, like fresh ideals and good deeds, and perhaps some of these spring up from the seeds that have been stored in those old, demolished trees.

The most important thing in my book is always to discover a new way to rescue faith in the midst of the pain that exists all around.

My review
It’s refreshing and energizing to read about the development of a faith life from a different perspective, one that comes from a different culture in another arena. I am too comfortable in my lifestyle and I need to step outside that zone on occasion to truly appreciate what I have been given.

Roche’s joy, fear, and desire to grow and practice his faith glow from the pages. Told through anecdotes, personal revelation, stories of meeting people on the streets where they are, and reflections on Bible verses and stories, such as that of Job (Our Job does not have a story to be told because we spend all day long rejecting it.), The Lighthouse of Asaph will give Christian readers pause. Am I living to my potential where I am, here and now? Roche will help you answer that question as you walk with him in his life as a Cuban Christian living in a land that long despaired yet retained pockets of joy.

Roberto Ornan RocheAbout the Author

Roberto Ornan Roche, a Christian writer from Cuba, is an internationally recognized author with stories published in English and Spanish. His book, A Lighthouse of Asaph, is a story collection capturing the emotions and longings of a Cuban heart. The stories were written in an attempt to reconcile the author’s life of faith with a society that discourages it. Born out of fear and sadness, sadness from praying for dreams that were never realized, A Lighthouse of Asaph is a book to encourage you and help you find meaning in your circumstances.

Inspirational nonFiction for Couples from Dana Rongione

Introducing a new book from author Dana Rongione

What Happened To Prince Charming?
Understanding What To Do When You No Longer Know the Man You're Married To

About the Book:
My heart crumbled as this lovely young wife and mother told me of her struggling marriage and desire for a divorce. For as long as I had known her, she had dreamed of getting married and starting a family. When she met Mr. Right, the glow on her face outshone the sun, and when she found out she was expecting their first baby, it seemed like she had discovered her perfect place in life. So, what happened? It wasn't so long ago that she was singing the praises of her Prince Charming, but now it seems that all she can do is utter complaints about her Elmer Fudd. What made the change, and is divorce the only solution?

Unfortunately, her story is all too familiar, and her pain rings true in the hearts of hundreds (if not thousands) of women across the globe. What is a wife to do when she no longer recognizes the man she married? Within this book, you'll find the answer to that question along with Scriptural advice on making the most of your marriage.

When you tied the knot, you made a promise to love your husband for better or for worse. I want to help you keep that promise!

A brief Q & A with Dana

Why I wrote the book:
Honestly, the Lord has been teaching me so many things in my own marriage that I felt compelled to share the knowledge with others. We wives are quick to judge our husbands based on how much they've changed since we met them. Gone are the days of wooing and trying to win our affection. Instead, in our eyes, they have become couch potatoes or “good for nothings” that are only interested in one part of the relationship:  the physical part. These issues have led to frustration and arguments in more marriages than I can count. When I first began praying about these issues in my own life and the bitterness I was feeling toward my husband, I had hopes that the Lord would change my man back into the Prince Charming he was twenty years ago. But instead of changing my man, the Lord changed me and helped me to realize that many of the issues were because of me not my husband. It was a hard lesson to hear, but I'm so glad the Lord dealt with me and helped me to see the light. Now, my goal is to help other women see it as well.

Who is the book for?
The book is intended for married women of any age, but there's a lot of information in it about relationships in general that anyone could glean from.

What do I want readers to take away from this book?
I guess the main thing I want them to understand is that their marriage is not doomed. There is still hope to have a “happily ever after” if they're willing to do what it takes to make the marriage work. I also want wives of all ages to know that these marriage issues are normal and that they're not the only ones wondering what happened to their Prince Charming?

How did I research the book?
Many of the issues I deal with in the book are ones that have come up in my own life or in the life of a friend or family member. I also gathered some information from women through social media, trying to get a feel for how many people felt the same way I did. The number was astounding. As for the remedies to these situations, I needed only turn to the Word of God for those. There is a fair amount of Scripture throughout the book because I feel that the Bible contains the answer to any and all of life's problems. We simply need to know where to look.

What's next for me?
I am starting on a book project unlike anything I've ever done. The trilogy will be a Christian fantasy series based on Merlin the Magician and will contain a blend of myth, legend and Biblical truths. The majority of the storyline of the first two books will take place in Bible times after the teenager, Merlin, accidentally sends himself, along with young Prince Arthur, back in time. In book one, the traveling duo searches out Jesus in hopes that this “Man of Miracles” can send them home. Book two jumps even further back in time, but the rest of the details of that story are a bit of a secret right now. Finally, in book three, Merlin and Arthur return back to their time, but many things have changed, especially Merlin himself.  I have a true love of Camelot legends, so I am very excited about this project. Book one is already planned out, and Lord willing, I'll begin writing it within the month. Hopefully, books two and three won't be far behind!

Peppered with mystery and intrigue, The Dividing Stone engages the reader in a dynamic interplay of supernatural forces, reflecting the  multifaceted reasons for the demolition of marriages and division in the church. It explores the spiritual and human dynamics involved in the treacherous plot to destroy believers, and the extraordinary power of prayer to overcome evil

From the back:
A sinister, dark force hovers over the unsuspecting valley when Margo Pierson discovers a tattered letter illuminating a mysterious ancestor and warning them of "a diabolical evil that stalks this town." Though preoccupied with preparations for the prestigious craft show, Margo, the young potter, is catapulted into a quest to unearth the truth and expose the uncanny murder of her namesake. Unwittingly, she and her companions stumble upon an ancient stone that holds the secret to both the past and present dangers. Caught off guard by her nemesis, Bill Guiles, he kidnaps Ms. Pierson and attempts to erase all she discovered of the secret society. Will their plans be thwarted? Will havoc be the new order? Will relationships be ruined and marriages annihilated? As the forces of good and evil engage in a spiritual battle in the heavenly realm, can Margo survive and foil the deadly curses set in motion centuries ago?

Come join Margo Pierson and friends for a roller-coaster ride and supernatural adventure of your life!

The Dividing Stone
No one can escape it.

A brief interview with the author:

L: Anita, tell us why you wrote The Dividing Stone.

A: I started writing bits and pieces of the Dividing Stone many years ago when I was trying to understand why our vibrant church was being ripped apart and disintegrated before our eyes. We were leaving in a liberal college town known for its openness to New Age philosophy, covens and magic and I began to wonder if the spiritual atmosphere was the cause for the break up. If we were engaged in a spiritual battle, we had no idea it was so powerful.

L: Wow, Anita, that sounds like quite an experience. What drove you on?

A: Because of the historical significance of the area, I felt compelled to do some research about the town and found some connections to what I believed might be some underlying causes of division. Though the story deals with dark forces and spiritual battles in the heavenly places, the "diabolical evil that stalks the town" is bent on  dividing and destroying  Christians and the tiny band of prayer warriors of which the main character, Margo Pierson, becomes their chief target.

L: Tell us about the plot, Anita.

A: When I began to develop the plot for the book, I wove in some of my own experiences during this time, my research and what I believed God inspired me to write. Being a lover of  mysteries, I embedded this  into the plot and intertwined the spiritual and other aspects. At that time, I became a fan of Frank Peretti and found that my writing was similar to his. It was then that I incorporated scenes with the demons and angels, which I believe make it more powerful.

L: You've written non-fiction before. How long did it take you to write this book?

A: It took me years to write because I was waiting on God to guide me through. Every time I wrote something more, it was validated by research or something that I actually discovered. For example, when I started incorporating the freemasons into the historical component and general plot, I discovered at Sturbridge Village a building that had a room set aside for the Mason's meetings. The all knowing eye was painted on the ceiling.

L: Were you worried about making the story too dark?

A: I struggled with the plot at times being too "cutting edge" and dealing with a very dark evil. When I first started writing The Dividing Stone the group I had in mind were the worst I could imagine, but as ISIS began to be exposed for their cruel beheading, crucifixions and torture of Christians, the pages of the book leaped out as real. Thought it took me over twenty years to complete, I believe the timing is perfect and the message of The Dividing Stone relevant to what is happening today to Christians.

L: Sounds exciting, Anita! Best wishes.

Five Favorites with Lorilyn Roberts, author of The Donkey and the King, a children's picture book.

QUESTION:  Favorite city you have visited?
LORILYN:  Jerusalem. I will never forget approaching the city and seeing a modern street sign that said “Jerusalem.”  Tears welled up in my eyes, but the lack of sleep made my eyes burn so much I had to quit crying. The juxtaposition of a modern sign with an ancient city seemed anachronistic. I couldn’t believe I was there.

QUESTION:  Favorite food?
LORILYN:   Chocolate – in any form except ice cream.

QUESTION:  Favorite authors?
LORILYN:  Randy Alcorn, C.S. Lewis, and Max Lucado

QUESTION:  Favorite book you’ve read in the last three months?
LORILYN:  On Writing, A Memoir of the Craft, by Stephen King

QUESTION:  Favorite historical person?
LORILYN:  Corrie Ten Boom
